Afro-Sapien was created after a decision was made to pay homage to one of the coolest, hippest, eras in history – the 1970’s. Afro-Sapien’s initial design focus is to capture the sense of fashion and complimentary elements of cool that was boldly displayed during this socially disruptive time period.
In addition to the “1970’s”, Afro-Sapien seeks to capture the genuine and authentic cool styles that highlight the essence of afro-centrism and afro-culture as witnessed throughout the decades. These styles that have now become signature staples of contemporary fashion trends, will be channeled via cool desirable clothing and apparel.
